Remote inspection and cyber-physical management for emergency healthcare infrastructure
As an urgent measure to mitigate the health impact, the Catalan Health Service (CatSalut) executed the Fast-Track construction of multipurpose hospitals connected directly via bridges to existing reference hospitals. In a record timeframe of 20 weeks, these 4,500 m² complexes were designed, prefabricated, built, and coordinated.
To overcome severe health and mobility restrictions during construction and subsequent handover, POWERBIM was implemented as a unified digital ecosystem for remote inspection and asset data auditing.
The scope of the work performed is divided into several areas:

Continuous evaluation of the information structure of BIM models received during construction, ensuring the consistency of classification systems and the quality of
the database for integration into the platform.
Platform allowing the management of multiple healthcare complexes geolocated within the territory. Links simple territorial massing in an online GIS viewer with detailed BIM models via a single click.
Chronological recording system that automatically positions videos and images captured from smartphones or cameras onto the project timeline, extracting the date and time from metadata for transparent audits.
Incorporation of additional databases with key attributes of equipment and spaces subject to maintenance, transforming design and
construction models into fully operational digital assets for Facility Management.
Pioneering solution that streams live virtual visits from portable cameras (GoPro) and fixed IP cameras, mapping the exact route of the operator onto the 3D model
for real-time remote inspection by site managers.
Real-time connectivity with facility control systems (SCADA) and building environment data, facilitating access to critical operational parameters through a unified dashboard.
